With such a success he thinks of a legitimate rap career. When the episodes begin he has made a name for himself on Youtube as Lil Dicky. Even he has gained millions of views he doesn't have a record deal. Dave was born with a tangled urethra. This is a situation we return a lot. He also has a girlfriend called Ally. Dave who performed for one of Ally's students then it goes for more potential lucrative gigs. And sometimes it goes from the Lil Dicky to show the reality of Dave. He is funny in the moment of his relationships with his friends. He shares baths with Mike for reasons best left unexplained. The later episodes focus on GaTa. It's about an exploration of mental illness. It made you think that this show might be a critique of hyper-masculinity. Dave is receiving a lot of calls from his fretful parents. They try not to give themselves when he tells them he's wiring 10.000 dollars with a production company. The failures that came from savviness somehow lead to accidental spurts of success. The birth surgery has become his biggest insecurity and his finest turn of phrase. That is the reason that turns Dave into a thoughtful exploration of masculinity. If Dave can rap about that, it can bring his friends to talk about their issues in GaTa's case. So the show becomes more meaningful than talking about people who have nothing to do. If you think this is too much about his genitals then don't watch Dave. Helping out him later are his friends, business associates, and girlfriend including Travis Bennet as Elz, an audio engineer and Dave's childhood friend. Andrew Santino as Mike is Dave's roommate. And of course, GaTa who is Dave's on-stage hype man and new addition to the tight-knit crew. It's hard to say what the show will become but in the end, Dave expands it2s vision.
